Neural Group is looking for new team members with a burning desire to realize a society of the future through the application of cutting-edge AI technologies developed in academic fields in situations applicable to everyday life.
Up to now academic research has focused on domain-limited benchmarks to produce a broad range of new innovations. However, attempting to apply this research to actual real world data resulted in a large number of issues that could not readily be simplified down, and this inability to achieve the expected results was a frequent occurrence. As a result, it is unfortunate that progress on the oft-talked about implementation of AI technology in society is at a standstill.
The Neural Group technical team is organized as a group of specialists engaged in resolving these issues to bridge the gap between the abovementioned academic research and real world conditions.
We rapidly identify and certainly solve a diverse range of issues in an open world.
Team members are required to have the following three capabilities in order to resolve issues using reproducible methods, rather than simply approaching issues in a haphazard manner.

AI researcher
- Job details
- An AI researcher performs research and development into AI (deep learning and other forms of machine learning).Successful candidates need to be able to both flexibly take on board ideas from academic research, while also stretching beyond this to lead the workflows from actively discovering new ideas, collecting and testing data, and delivering results to develop AI that perform effectively within the constraints of real-world conditions.
Investigate, implement and test technologies required for products
・Develop and continually improve upon AI implemented in products
・Coordinate the collection of data required for academic study
・Present research results/write papers
- Qualification requirements
- ・To be engaged in research or work specializing in image-based machine learning, machine learning and data science.
・Be able to engage in discussions on machine learning in English
・Give presentations at academic conferences on machine learning
・Lead development on products related to machine learning
・Have product development experience using an edge device
・Have FPGA development experience

AI Engineer
- Job details
- AI engineers act as product owners responsible for leading development of products in response to market needs.Our AI engineers are required to go beyond the traditional boundaries of system development to flexibly design and implement AI while considering the technical limitations specific to AI.Therefore, successful candidates must possess a deep understanding of algorithms and have experience with the infrastructure and frameworks used for AI.
・Design and implement scalable AI systems
・UI/UX design and development performed in conjunction with business teams

- Qualification requirements
- ・Have two or more years of development experience with Python and C++, etc.
・Be capable of developing in English
・Have participated in competitive programming events and achieved a set level of performance
・Have experience using a cloud service for work for at least one year

Front end engineer
- Job details
- A front end engineer primarily focuses on the front end development of AI-driven products. This includes a broad range of development tasks, including web and app-based development. Neural Group provides a highly mobile startup environment, where successful candidates will have the opportunity to go hands-on with a broad range of technologies over a short period of time. Front end engineers are also free to participate in back end (in particular, AWS) development, as well as aspects of AI development.
- Qualification requirements
- ・Three or more years commercial development experience
・Have an interest in AI
・Have experience with React or Vue.js frameworks
・Have a TOEIC score of around 750 or higher
・Have experience with UI/UX design

- Job details
- A back end engineer primarily focuses on the back end development of AI-driven products. Back end engineers are mainly tasked with developing in Python (+flask) with regard to AI connectivity. Neural Group provides a highly mobile startup environment, where successful candidates will have the opportunity to go hands-on with a broad range of technologies over a short period of time. Back end engineers are also free to participate in front end development, as well as aspects of AI development.
